Tank was loved by Aimi during his time at the Ranch. Every day we saw photos of her carrying him around—no small feat at 47 pounds—holding him in her lap, and taking him out for pupcup field trips. So when previous adopters of Polly Pocket, now Tallulah “Bean,” Joe and Nina Grieco, reached out about him, their only hesitation was how sad Aimi might be. And while the staff absolutely get attached, they also know these dogs are heading into wonderful homes like the Grieco’s, which makes letting go a little easier.
Tank is an easy dog to fall for—laid back, gentle, and full of charm—and we received many applications for him. But he isn’t a low‑maintenance dog. He needed a dermatologist for his ears and skin, and he left the Ranch requiring weekly allergy shots, plus follow‑ups if his symptoms worsened or he needed more serum. We needed adopters willing to take on that commitment, and thankfully, his new family didn’t hesitate to step up for this sweet boy and the whole family came to his adoption.

When Tank arrived at his new home, we immediately got a photo of him after he’d tested out every bed in the house, looking completely content with his new setup. Nina shared that he loves his morning walks and keeps a brisk pace—so he may even shed a few pounds. He’s also a big fan of car rides and watching the world go by from their windows. Truly, we can’t imagine him landing in a softer spot.

And of course, his name is staying Tank—because who could resist Tank & Tallulah? Wishing the happiest life to these sweet pups. Their parents already know about Happy Tails, and we’re excited to see their updates soon

About Tank:

Owner surrenders, The story we are told is they were moving and cannot take them, they had homes lined up for them and the folks backed out at the last minute.

What we are told about their health and what we find after exams is the following.

The blue Frenchie is Tank, he is a great big boy at 47 pounds and 5 years old, we were told he has allergies but Apoquel keeps it under control, healthy otherwise. What we found is a head tilt that has been there for 2 years, badly infected ears, a low grade heart murmur, had a bout with seemingly IVDD but thankfully steroids helped him recover. He most likely has an inner ear infection causing the head tilt and will need to see a dermatologist, he will need to have a CT done and see if he needs a Myringotomy. He has had a couple of seizures in his history but they seem to be idiopathic, and at this time no medication needed.

Lola has a hernia that needs to be repaired and infected ears, both of them need a dental.

This folks is how taking in owner surrenders that are seemingly healthy and up to date on everything turns into thousands of dollars in vetting, it’s just that simple.

Tank is a big sweet boy, emphasizing big at 41 pounds. He is very balanced with other dogs and once his vetting is finished will be lovely addition to any home

Tank is a whole lotta Frenchie, weighing in at over 41 pounds of pure love 🤍 Despite his linebacker build, he’s one of the most easygoing dogs you’ll meet. His favorite hobbies include holdys, snuggles, treats, and giving his signature head tilt while he vibes through life.
Tank just wants to hang out with his people and be loved. If you’re looking for a laid back best friend to binge watch TV with and occasionally crush you with affection, he’s absolutely your guy 🐾
