It’s a sad story and we just couldn’t help with all of them. The owner is a veteran who was evicted from his place and his dogs were taken from him. 5 Bordeaux’s in all and one mixed breed dog all needed up in the shelter. They are all littermates aged 4, there were histories with some of them not liking each other so we had to just take two that we felt would get along the best with how we keep dogs. Other rescues are working on the others and hopefully they all get the help they need. We are just absolutely inundated with Bordeauxs, it’s raining bears!! and we basically have no applications for any of them. This is such a tough time for rescues and I’m unsure when it will improve. These two will go to the sanctuary and stay in isolation waiting to see if they get sick with anything while they were in the shelter.
