Tinder writes: I’m a catch! A diamond in the ruff, if you will. I’m a shy boy who enjoys quiet time spent with quiet people but when I come out of shell, boy are you in for a treat! I like to talk and sometimes even yell when I get excited. I don’t always know what I’m excited about, but man does it feel good to yell into the wind! Dancing is a hobby I love to explore and I’ll dance with the breeze when the mood strikes. Long walks aren’t really my thing and I’d prefer not to be touched, but I’ll beguile you with my honey brown eyes while playing hard to get and always leave you wanting more.
Kat: swiped right and that’s where their love story began.
Tinder and Kat are the perfect example of “there’s someone for everyone”. Having lost her cream Frenchie, Tofu, a few months ago, she was feeling like she was missing something. While her heart still hurts from the loss of her Tofu, she felt ready to welcome another in. With his quirks and aloofness, finding the perfect home was a bit of a challenge. See, he needs someone who will love him exactly where he is with no conditions or expectations that he’ll inevitably fall short of.
Fortunately, Kat knows this type of dog all too well. Tofu was a bit quirky and aloof as well. After a meet and greet in her home and a trial stay of 4 days, I received the following message from Kat:
“He’s safe now, and will be for rest of his days.
Oh, and I’m sorry but you won’t have to make another trip out
— we’re smitten with this little fella
and welcome our home to him if he will have us.” What more could we ask for???
With that, Tinder got new home with a forever mama, human brother, Frenchie sister Zoe and a new name: Zenitsu (ZenZen for short). Happy Tails, ZenZen!
About Tinder:
UPDATE——-3/12/2024
- Tinder was rescued from his life as a commercial breeding dog and has gone on to stay with foster mom Trish in OKC. He has a sweet but shy disposition and will take time to feel comfortable in new environments. He has some mental scars from life in a puppy mill, and will sometimes bark at seemingly random objects until redirected. When a dog has nothing to do but sit in a cage all day, they find ways to entertain themselves that can become compulsive. This is what Tinder experienced for the first three years of his life. He will likely always have quirks, but in time he can become a loved part of a family that is willing to look
