Today was the day Topsy met her forever mom. Caitlin Kovnat drove to the sanctuary from Austin TX to take this little spitfire home.Topsy was nervous at first but within a few minutes, she warmed up and enjoyed some snuggles before loading up in the car to head to her new home. When they arrive back home, Topsy will be introduced to her new sister Josie, a 6 year old Brussels Griffon. Caitlin is deciding between a few names and will figure out which one fits Topsy as she gets to know her more. Names in the running are Gigi and Odette and Caitlin’s friends weighed in with the name Ethel. We look forward to finding out which name she chooses on the Happy Tails page soon. Topsy, we hope you enjoy every second of being spoiled by your new mom.

About Topsy:

Ricky drove to the boondocks to pick up these dogs discarded from a backyard breeder. Ricky said it had to be the most remote place he has traveled. Way out in east Texas he traveled down a dirt road for 2 miles at 8 miles per hour that required 4 wheel drive, these 3 lucky dogs didn’t know that their life had forever changed.

The chocolate Tri-colored Frenchie is a male we shall call him Gallant, the little girl with one eye we shall call her Vista. The long haired Chi Chi was gotten rid of because ” she couldn’t get her pregnant” their words not mine.

We shall call her Topsy, we sent her to foster with Jenn because she’s small and needs to be in a home.

We welcome all three to their new lives…
