I’m going to close the night tonight with an adoption, I think it’s a good way to close out the day.
Oh big Truck boy…
His rescue started with a photo of an emaciated big boy found under a trailer in an undesirable area. He clearly had been out on his own for a long time, emaciated, covered in skin infection and nobody caring about him. Debbie Nash reached out to see if we could help, Ricky drove up to Arkansas to get him. The staff and the vets went to work on him. It took a long time to get him healthy. So many vet visits, so many medicated baths, so much good food, (not the Thanksgiving green beans)
But….donuts were great..
His new family Ami & Andy Kratt of The Woodlands, TX. have been waiting for him for all of this time, undeterred by medical delays, biopsy results of small masses and infections on his skin that we just couldn’t get cleared for quite some time.
They have an 11 year old mastiff mix named Gracie and a 17 year old son still at home. Ami works from home. They have literally been waiting for him since the day he arrived, and it makes us very happy to know that all of his time on his own suffering will never occur again, instead he has a family that loved him from the get go.
His name, will remain Truck, because well, look at him, he is as big as a Truck and it suits him.
We love this big boy, and they love him too and that my friends is what this is all about.
Happy life Truck !!!!
