Wink

Amy Jenkins and her husband have always had a home full of bully breeds… Pella 8, an Old English Bulldog; Cleo (4½), a Cane Corso; Drusilla (4), a pocket bully; and their sweet Diana (5), a French Bulldog who recently passed away unexpectedly. They are dedicated to adopting rescues and have been long-time followers of our page. When they saw Wink, they knew she was the one to help complete their pack again and begin healing their hearts.

Amy works outside the home three days a week—and the dogs get to go with her! Her husband, John, works from home, so their pups are rarely ever alone. They have the time, knowledge, and experience to give Wink exactly what she needs as she continues healing from her prolapse. To top it all off, they came with a fantastic vet reference, so I know Wink will always have the medical care she may need.

Amy and her aunt flew from Dayton, Ohio to South Texas to visit family for a few days, then rented a car and drove up to adopt Wink and bring her home. She walked right out to the car and immediately tried to jump in on her own—like she knew she was going home.

Wink’s new name will be Winney, though Wink will always be her nickname.

What a beautiful life this little girl has ahead of her… three fur sisters to play with and going to work with mom. I can’t wait to see that famous wink on the Happy Tails page
