Zoinks

Mom arrived at the Sanctuary wearing a dachshund tee shirt, which felt like the perfect little sign that Zoinks was meant to go home with Kevin and Toni Casavos of Hurst, TX. They lost their beloved boy, Tag, in June, and their hearts were finally ready to welcome another dog. When they saw Zoinks’ post on our page, they looked at each other and said, “It’s time.”

Zoinks—now Max—will have a work‑from‑home mom and a dad who’s home half the time, so he’ll never be short on company, love, or spoiling. This boy truly hit the jackpot.
