Description
Absolutely. I would add Wulver in a way that connects his visible healing to the purpose of the raffle, rather than simply mentioning that he is a rescue.
Old Soul Tintype Series #1 & #2 — Cask Strength Bourbon Collection
Where exceptional bourbon meets the soul of American music—and helps write a new story for dogs in need.
This remarkable two-bottle collection from Cathead Distillery in Jackson, Mississippi, brings together Old Soul Tintype Series #1 and Series #2, limited small-batch bourbons created in collaboration with the Music Maker Foundation to honor and preserve the legacy of influential blues musicians.
Both releases are presented uncut, unfiltered and at cask strength, allowing each whiskey to retain the depth and character developed during years of barrel aging. They share a mash bill of 75% corn, 21% rye and 4% malted barley, while their different ages and barrel selections give each release a character all its own.
Tintype Series #1 — Captain Luke Mayer
Aged approximately 7 years and bottled at cask strength, Series #1 honors bluesman Captain Luke Mayer. It opens with butterscotch and vanilla before developing into caramel, dark chocolate and nuttiness, finishing with lingering rye spice.
Tintype Series #2 — Hermon Hitson
Aged approximately 9 years, Series #2 celebrates guitarist and singer Hermon Hitson. Sweet corn, butterscotch and toasted walnut lead into a rich palate of licorice, baking spices, cinnamon and chocolate.
Together, these bottles celebrate craftsmanship, history, music and the people whose stories deserve to be remembered.
And standing alongside them is Wulver, one of the dogs whose story reminds us exactly why these raffles matter.
Wulver is still healing. The hair loss you see on his body hasn’t been hidden or edited away because it is part of his rescue story. He isn’t at the end of his journey yet. His coat still bears evidence of what he has been through, while his bright eyes and increasingly confident spirit show us where he is headed.
Rescued. Healing. Loved.
Every raffle ticket purchased helps Dog Ranch Rescue provide dogs like Wulver with the medical care, nutrition, safety and time they need to recover. Some arrive needing relatively simple care; others require weeks or months before the physical evidence of their former lives finally begins to disappear.
Wulver doesn’t need to look perfectly healed to be beautiful. This is what rescue looks like in the middle of the story.
Two extraordinary bourbons. Two legendary blues artists. One very deserving rescue dog—and one more reason to raise a glass for rescue.
